J Michael Instruments - Instrument Instructions

Oftentimes music lessons are taken by children just for something to do during the summer. For those that stick with it, they will find a lifetime of enjoyment, stress reduction and relaxation. For some, music becomes an outlet to express emotions and feelings that can’t be vented in any other way. Part of the J Michael Mission Statement reads: “To ensure that fretted musical instruments remain functional and playable and that the skill level in playing them is increased. Utilizing qualified instructors, we enable musical learning through individual and group lessons and classes.”

Spend a half-an-hour or an hour with us once a week and learn to play electric guitar, steel-sting acoustic guitar, classical guitar, bass, banjo or piano. And when the lesson is over it isn’t gone. Each lesson can optionally be recorded to CD and taken home. During the week you can replay the lesson over and over to replay those tricky parts. Your instructor may lay down a brief rhythm track fro you to play along with during the week! Lessons are offered daily except for Sunday. Private one-on-one lessons are $19.50 per half hour and held weekly. All lessons are offered in private lesson rooms with glass doors.
